Art has always been part of my life, even when I didn’t realize it. As a child, my mum would gently hold my hand and take me to summer school, enrolling me in drawing and painting classes. I still remember the joy of winning a school art competition in third grade—though I no longer have the painting, the feeling of being seen and encouraged has stayed with me ever since.
From the precision of engineering to the boundless freedom of art, my journey has been anything but conventional. For years, I dedicated myself to academia, pursuing a PhD and building a career in engineering. But the pressure, trauma, and toxic work environment took a toll on my mental and physical health. Struggling with anxiety, PTSD, and fibromyalgia, I reached a breaking point—one that forced me to step away from the life I had worked so hard to build.
In the midst of loss and upheaval, I turned back to painting—not just as a creative outlet, but as a lifeline. Art became my sanctuary, a way of healing and rediscovering myself beyond titles and expectations. When I paint now, I feel as though I am that child again—safe, curious, and deeply loved. It’s as if my mum is right there with me, guiding my hand just like she used to.
Through painting, I found a voice I had lost and a sense of peace I desperately needed. My work is deeply inspired by nature and flowers—symbols of resilience, beauty, and transformation. Every brushstroke carries emotion, telling stories of strength, renewal, and hope.
Over time, I developed a distinctive style characterized by my love for the natural world. My paintings explore themes of freedom, tranquility, and reflection, capturing fleeting moments of peace and wonder. As a full-time artist, my mission is to create more than just beautiful artwork; I want to craft pieces that inspire, evoke thought, and bring a sense of serenity into people’s lives.
My art is an invitation to step into a world where imagination and nature intertwine—a world where healing, beauty, and transformation quietly bloom.
